High Court Bans Parallel Ghee Sales at Sabarimala
The High Court has issued strict directives to the Melshantis and temple officials at Sabarimala, stating that parallel ghee sales will not be permitted. The Court further instructed that any ghee remaining after abhishekam must not be stored, and all ghee kept in rooms should be handed over to the Devaswom Board. It was also noted that assistant priests have been selling ghee at a rate of ₹100.
