Pandalam Palace Appoints Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma as Representative for Thiruvabharanam Procession
Pandalam – The Pandalam Palace has selected Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma as the representative of Pandalam Valiyathampuran for the Thiruvabharanam procession, which will depart for Sabarimala on January 12. The appointment was made by the palace administration team under the guidance of Valiyathampuran Thiruvonam Nal Ramavarma Raja.
Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma, the chosen royal representative, will lead the sacred procession from Pandalam Palace to Sabarimala on January 12, upholding a cherished tradition.
Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma is the son of the late Malathi Thamburati of Pandalam Oottupura Palace and the late Raman Namboothiri of Matiyath Illam. He holds a degree in Commerce from Kerala University and has had a distinguished professional career. He worked at Premier Cables and Patspin, and later served as the Finance Manager at Ernakulam Lakshmi Hospital until his retirement.
A talented artist and ardent art enthusiast, Rajaraja Varma has composed light music for Akashavani and acted in various serials on Doordarshan. He currently resides at Mangala Lane, Kamas, Varyam Road, Ernakulam.
Rajaraja Varma is married to Sushma Varma. The couple has two children, Ramya R. Varma and Sujith R. Varma, and a son-in-law, Abhilash G. His brother, Suresh Varma, serves as the Secretary of the Pandalam Palace Executive Committee. His sisters are Sulochana Thampurati, Sarala Thampurati, Sunanda Thampurati, and Sumathi Thampurati.
The announcement was made during a press conference attended by key members of the Pandalam Palace Executive Committee, including Secretary M.R. Suresh Varma, former Secretary P.N. Narayana Varma, and Treasurer Deepa Varma.
