Pamba Depot Generates ₹19.26 Crore Revenue During Mandala Season
The Pamba depot has generated a revenue of ₹19.26 crore during the ongoing Mandala season at Sabarimala. This figure is based on calculations up to November 27, with the total income amounting to ₹19,26,78,012.
The revenue was earned from bus services operating from Pamba to Nilakkal and to various other districts. On average, around 180 buses were operated daily from the depot. In addition, a total of 196 buses were deployed from different depots across the state to support the services.
The efficient operation of these services played a key role in managing the heavy influx of pilgrims during the Mandala season and contributed significantly to the overall revenue.
