Makaravilakku Mahotsavam: Restrictions on Forest Route Pilgrimage
In connection with the Makaravilakku Mahotsavam, authorities have imposed restrictions on pilgrim movement through forest routes leading to Sabarimala to ensure safety and crowd management.
Pilgrims travelling via the Erumeli forest route will be permitted only until 6:00 PM on January 13. Those using the Azhuthakkadavu route will be allowed to proceed until 8:00 AM on January 14, while pilgrims coming through the Mukkuzhi route can continue their journey until 10:00 AM on the same day.
Devotees are advised to strictly follow these timings and cooperate with officials for a smooth and safe Makaravilakku pilgrimage.
