Sabarimala Pilgrimage: Officials Honoured at Function Inaugurated by Minister Vasavan
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister V. N. Vasavan inaugurated a honouring ceremony organized to recognize officials from various departments who contributed to the Sabarimala pilgrimage. The Minister said that a pilgrim-friendly pilgrimage season was made possible through the coordinated efforts of all departments.
The honouring function was held at Sumangali Auditorium, Nandancode, Thiruvananthapuram, under the chairmanship of K. Jayakumar, President of the Travancore Devaswom Board.
More than 100 officials representing various departments—including the Police, Fire Force, Forest Department, KSEB, Revenue Department, Water Authority, Public Relations Department, Local Self-Government Department, Kudumbashree Mission, Haritha Mission, KSRTC, Motor Vehicles Department, Public Works Department, Health Department, and Electrical Inspectorate—were honoured. Among those who received recognition were Shyam Sundar, Satheesh Bino, Putta Vimaladitya, Arul R. B. Krishna, S. Sujith Das, Alappuzha District Collector Alex Varghese, Kottayam District Collector Chetan Kumar Meena, Idukki District Collector Dinesan Cheruvatt, Pathanamthitta District Collector Prem Krishnan, Sabarimala ADM Arun S. Nair, and KSRTC CMD Pramoj Shankar, among others.
Travancore Devaswom Board member K. Raju, Revenue Devaswom Secretary M. G. Rajamanikyam, and Devaswom Commissioner B. Sunil Kumar also attended the event.
