Sabarimala: On 16th February, the beautifully crafted silver Mahamangala arathi stand was offered by B.K. Nataraju Guruswamy of Janatha Textile, Bangalore, and ceremonially handed over to the Melshanti Prasad ED and the Kelshanti Harish Potti of Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple.
Crafted with traditional Karnataka artistry, the Silver Mahamangala Arathi Stand(Weighing 1 kg 150 gms) features intricate floral engravings and is specially designed for the sacred Karpoora (camphor) Arathi. It will be used for the Karpura Mahamangalarathi, which is performed at least six times a day whenever the temple is open for Rituals.

B.K. Nataraju Said, During the ceremonial handover at Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple, the temple committee gathered around, their faces glowing brighter than the sacred flame itself, showering us with blessings and heartfelt appreciation for supporting their rituals. We were graciously invited to witness the first Karpura Arathi, where chants of “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa” resonated through the shrine and the entire community joined in devotion and celebration.
Moments like these make our devotional service truly rewarding, filling our hearts with gratitude and adding deeper meaning to life.
