Kerala Govt Appreciates Indian Railways for Sabarimala Pilgrimage Arrangements
The Government of Keralam formally appreciated Indian Railways for its extensive special arrangements during the Sabarimala Mandala–Makaravilakku 2025–26 pilgrimage season, at a function held in Thiruvananthapuram. The state government appreciated the Railways for operating additional special trains, strengthening passenger amenities, and ensuring effective crowd management to facilitate the smooth movement of lakhs of devotees to the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple, noting that the coordinated efforts significantly enhanced safety, efficiency, and overall travel experience during the peak pilgrimage period.
