After Selection, New Pampa Melshanthis Offer Prayers at Sabarimala and Malikappuram Temples

Sabarimala: The newly selected Pampa Devaswom Melshanthis, S. Girish Kumar Namboothiri and M.S. Sreekumaran Namboothiri, visited the Malikappuram Sree Bhagavathi Temple after offering prayers at the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple.
At Sabarimala, the two new Pampa Melshanthis also met Sabarimala Melshanthi E.D. Prasad and received his blessings.
At Malikappuram, they met Melshanthi M.G. Manu Namboothiri and received his blessings after being selected as Pampa Devaswom Melshanthis for the 2026–27 period.
A draw was held after 10 am on Monday at the Pampa Maha Ganapathi Temple to select the Melshanthis of Pampa Devaswom for the 2026–27 period. Brahmashree S. Girish Kumar Namboothiri, Shanthi of Padanaikulangara Devaswom under the Karunagappally Group and a former Keezhsanthi (assistant priest) of the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple, and Brahmashree M.S. Sreekumaran Namboothiri, Shanthi of Ambalathubhagam Devaswom under the Karunagappally Group, were selected as the Pampa Devaswom Melshanthis.
