High-Level Probe Into Sabarimala Ghee Irregularities: Devaswom Minister Writes to Home Minister
Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom Minister K. Muraleedharan has written to the Home Minister seeking a comprehensive investigation into the ghee irregularities at Sabarimala. Although a special Vigilance team is currently investigating the matter following a Kerala High Court directive, the preliminary inquiry conducted by the Devaswom Vigilance SP and Secretary found shocking irregularities.
In his letter, the minister said there is suspicion of a high-level conspiracy behind the awarding of the contract to a blacklisted company. He has called for a special team to conduct a comprehensive investigation covering aspects that are not part of the ongoing Vigilance probe.
