TDB President to Hold Special Meeting Today to Fast-Track Works Ahead of Sabarimala Pilgrimage Season
Pathanamthitta: Ahead of the upcoming Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season, the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) President is scheduled to hold a special high-level meeting in Pathanamthitta today (October 24) to speed up preparations at Sabarimala.
The meeting will be attended by the District Collector, heads of various government departments, Devaswom engineering and public works officials, and contractors involved in pilgrimage-related works.
The meeting aims to review the progress of ongoing preparations and ensure that all essential arrangements are completed on a war footing before the pilgrimage season begins.
The TDB President's decision to personally convene a meeting involving senior officials and contractors is being viewed as an unusual step to accelerate preparations and strengthen coordination among departments.
The Board's main priority is to ensure that all necessary facilities and infrastructure are ready on time, providing a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience for devotees during the Mandala-Makaravilakku season.
