In a heartfelt display of unity and compassion, the Sabarimala and Ayyappan Devotees Unity Across the World come together to support Balettan Swami, known for preparing Nivedyam for Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa. Recent hospital reports have revealed that Balettan Swami has been diagnosed with cancer, affecting three critical areas of his body: his lungs and both sides of his brain. This devastating news has spurred the Ayyappan Devotees community into action, demonstrating the profound principle of Manava Seva is Madhava Seva—service to humanity is service to God.
On June 19, 2025, coinciding with the closure of the Thirunada (Sanctum) for the monthly pooja, the community marked a significant milestone in their efforts to support Balettan Swami. In the esteemed presence of Tantri Kandararu Rajeevaru, Sabarimala Melsanthi, Malikappuram Melsanthi, Sabarimala Keezhshanthi, TDB President Adv. Prasanth, TDB Member Adv. Ajikumar, Administrative Officer Mr. Biju V. Nath, and AEO Mr. Sreenivas, a collective token of love and support was handed over to Balettan Swami's Family. This gesture symbolized the Ayyappan Devotees unwavering commitment to standing by one of their own in a time of need.

The fundraising initiative, led casually yet with remarkable coordination, successfully raised over ₹15 lakhs through accounts managed by Karthik and Athira Balakrishnan. The effort concluded on June 19, and the funds were officially presented to support Balettan Swami’s medical needs. The absence of formal leadership did not hinder the Devotees resolve; instead, it highlighted their ability to unite and work hand in hand for a meaningful cause.
As Balettan Swami faces this challenging journey, the Ayyappan Devotees support stands as a beacon of hope, reflecting the timeless values of unity, empathy, and devotion.
