Choithanal Vijayalakshmi Thampuratti of Pandalam Palace Passes Away at 95
Pandalam: Valia Thampuratti, Vadakkemuri Puthenkoikkal Palace Choithanal Vijayalakshmi Thampuratti (95) passed away on (July 28) at her son’s residence in Thrissur. She is the daughter of Harishwaran Namboothiri of Kallam Pilli Illam, Nellippuzha, Kidangoor and Uthram Naal Tanvangi Thampuratti of Pandalam Vadakkemuri Puthenkoikkal Palace. She was the wife of the late Ramavarma of the Kovilakam at Vellangalloor Math. Son: R. Salim (business, Qatar) and daughter-in-law Bindu Varma.
The cremation will be held on July 29 at 2 p.m. in the premises of Pandalam Vadakkemuri Palace.
As there is mourning, the Pandalam Valia Koikkal Sree Dharmasastha Temple will reopen on August 8 after purification rituals.
