New Sabarimala Melsanthi Prasad E.D. Visits Cheerapanchira Mukkalvattom Temple
Cheerapanchira: Prasad E.D., who has been selected as the Melsanthi (chief priest) of Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple for the 2025–2026 term, visited the historic Cheerapanchira Mukkalvattom Ayyappan Temple to offer prayers. The visit was marked by devotion and reverence, as Cheerapanchira is traditionally regarded as the ancestral home associated with Lord Ayyappa’s gurukul lineage.
last year’s Sabarimala Melsanthi, Arun Namboodiri, had also visited the Cheerapanchira temple before assuming charge at Sabarimala.
