Tantri Kandararu Rajeevaru Granted Bail in Sabarimala Gold Scam Case
In Kerala, the Kollam Vigilance Court has granted bail to Head Priest Tantri Kandararu Rajeevaru in Sabarimala gold misappropriation cases. Tantri had been under judicial custody in two separate cases related to the misappropriation of gold from the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Temple. Tantri is listed as the 13th accused in the case related to the misappropriation of gold from the temple’s doorframes, and the 16th accused in a separate case related to the irregularities in temple idols. He was arrested last month by the Special Investigation Team, which is conducting the probe under the monitoring of the Kerala High Court.
Interestingly, he is the only accused in the case who managed to secure bail on the 41st day after his arrest, the bail order will be issued soon.
