Sabarimala Festival Office Opens at Pampa Ahead of Pilgrimage Season
Pampa: The Sabarimala Festival Office has officially commenced operations at Pampa, marking a significant step toward improving the efficiency of arrangements related to the annual Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage.
The office has been established to streamline coordination and administrative activities associated with the pilgrimage season. A meeting of the Travancore Devaswom Board was also held at the newly inaugurated facility.
Board President K. Jayakumar and member Adv. K. Raju attended the meeting. The festival office is equipped with modern facilities, including a dedicated hall for board meetings, a conference hall, rooms for the president and board members, and cabins for key officials such as the Chief Engineer, Devaswom Commissioner, and Devaswom Secretary. A front office has also been set up to facilitate operations.
Going forward, all major board meetings related to Sabarimala, along with coordination meetings involving various government departments, will be conducted at the festival office.
The Sabarimala Festival Office is located at Amrita Building, opposite the BSNL office at Pampa Triveni.
