TDB Signed Pact with KITSFRA in May for Complete Digitisation of Temples, Offices

 

Thiruvananthapuram:The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KITSFRA) last month for the complete digitisation of temples and offices functioning under the Board.

The agreement was signed at the Travancore Devaswom Board headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram by Devaswom Commissioner B. Sunilkumar and KITSFRA Director Rahul K. Raj.(sabarimalauptodate.in)

According to an official statement, the project aims to bring temple administration, file movement in offices, financial transactions in temples and administrative offices, services for devotees, and various online facilities related to the Sabarimala temple under a unified digital platform.(sabarimalauptodate.in)

Officials stated that the first phase of the initiative, covering online services connected to the Sabarimala temple, is expected to be implemented before the upcoming Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season.

The digitisation initiative is intended to ensure faster, more efficient, and transparent services for devotees, the Board said.

TDB President K. Jayakumar, Board members K. Raju and P.D. Santhosh Kumar, and Secretary P.N. Ganeswaran Potty were among those who attended the function, the statement added.
