Harivarasanam Film Begins New Shooting Schedule in Pamba, Nilakkal
Pathanamthitta: The next shooting schedule of Harivarasanam, the upcoming film starring Saiju Kurup and Tamil comedian Yogi Babu in key roles, has commenced in Pamba. The film is currently being shot at major locations including Nilakkal, Pamba and Triveni.
The movie is being produced by Vinayak Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayak Films. Directed by Rajesh Nair, the screenplay has been penned by Dr. Ambadi.
The production team had earlier approached the Kerala High Court’s Devaswom Bench after a delay in obtaining permission for the shoot. Following the court’s intervention, permission was granted after the filmmakers submitted the screenplay and other details of the project to the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB). The team has also secured special permission from the Forest Department for filming in the required locations.
A massive set replicating the Sabarimala Sannidhanam and the sacred Pathinettam Padi (18 Holy Steps) has been constructed for the film at Chitranjali Studio in Thiruvananthapuram. The elaborate set attracted considerable public attention, with many people visiting the studio to see it.
Another highlight of Harivarasanam is that music director Ranjin Raj, who composed the music for the blockbuster Malikappuram, is handling the film’s music. Set against the backdrop of Sabarimala, the film has generated considerable anticipation among moviegoers.
R. Jayachandran is the project designer, while Sajjad Kakku is the director of photography. Ajeesh Idaman is the editor, Shashi Pothuval is the production controller, and Rakhil is the production designer. Stephy Xavier handles costume design, Parthan C. is the chief associate director, and Hassan Vandur is the makeup artist.
Nidheesh is the associate director, Jefin Bijoy handles still photography, and Illuminartist is responsible for the film’s designs. Pratheesh Shekhar is the PRO.
