Notification for Daily Wage Workers: Sabarimala Pilgrimage 2026–27
Thiruvananthapuram: The Travancore Devaswom Board has officially invited applications from eligible candidates for daily-wage employment at Sabarimala during the upcoming Mandalam-Makaravilakku festival season (1202 Kollam Era / 2026–27). According to the official notification issued by the Office of the Chief Engineer in Thiruvananthapuram, this recruitment drive aims to engage temporary personnel to assist with crowd management and operational duties to support the millions of devotees expected during the annual pilgrimage season.
To be eligible, applicants must be male, belong to the Hindu religion, and be between 18 and 65 years of age. Candidates are required to submit an original Police Verification Certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector to prove no criminal background, alongside an original Medical Fitness Certificate. Additional mandatory submissions include attested copies of age proof, religion proof, Aadhaar card, bank passbook details, contact information, and a passport-sized photograph taken within the last six months.
Interested candidates must prepare their application according to the prescribed format published on the official website. Completed application forms, bearing a mandatory ₹10 Devaswom stamp, must reach the Chief Engineer, Travancore Devaswom Board, Nanthancode, Thiruvananthapuram - 695003 by September 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Applications received after the deadline or without the necessary police and medical clearances will not be considered.
