Festival Special Trains Between Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram Announced
Thiruvananthapuram: Southern Railway has announced six festival special train services between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Thiruvananthapuram North to meet the expected festive-season travel demand.
Train No. 01463 will operate from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Thiruvananthapuram North on October 15, 22 and 29, and November 5, 12 and 19, 2026. The train will depart LTT at 4:00 PM and reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 11:30 PM the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 01464 will run from Thiruvananthapuram North to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on October 17, 24 and 31, and November 7, 14 and 21. It will depart at 2:15 PM and arrive at LTT at 11:55 PM the next day.
The special trains will have key stoppages including Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Gokarna Road, Mangaluru Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur, Kollam and Varkala Sivagiri.
The additional services are aimed at providing more travel options during the festival season.
