Sabarimala Tender Details Leak: E-Auction for 110 Shops Cancelled; Re-Tendering Planned
Sabarimala: The e-auction scheduled for September 29 to grant rights to operate 110 shops at Sabarimala has been cancelled following the leakage of tender-related information.
The names and details of individuals who participated in the tender process for each shop were reportedly leaked, compromising the confidentiality of the tender documents. As the confidential nature of the bidding process has been lost, the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has decided to conduct a re-tender.
The Devaswom Vigilance and Chief Security Officer will conduct an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the breach of confidentiality during the tender process. The TDB has stated that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the leak.
