Heart attack death: Insurance benefit from next season Sabarimala
Sabarimala, Kerala – From the upcoming parliamentary term, Sabarimala Temple will introduce an insurance scheme offering Rs 3 lakh to the families of pilgrims who pass away due to heart attacks during their visit. To finance this initiative, a nominal Rs 5 fee will be applied during virtual queue or spot bookings for darshan. Participation is optional, with only those who choose to contribute paying the Rs 5 toward a dedicated fund.
