Thiruvananthapuram: A statement has revealed that gold stolen from Sabarimala was used for plating flagpoles and for renovation work in other temples. Smart Creations CEO Pankaj Bhandari gave a crucial statement to the SIT. Based on this, the SIT has begun inspections at temples in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka where Smart Creations carried out gold plating. The solution used to separate the gold will also be sent for examination. The SIT has decided to submit a report to the court documenting these findings. Meanwhile, the SIT has found that the method used to separate the gold was unscientific. A scientific analysis is being conducted to determine the composition of the solution used for gold separation.
