Sabarimala Virtual Queue Booking Opens for August Chingam Masa Pooja and Onam Darshan
Pathanamthitta, Kerala, August 3: Devotees planning to visit the Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple for the Chingam Masa (August) pooja and Onam celebrations can book their darshan slots through the Virtual Queue system from 5:00 PM today (August 3, 2026).
The bookings are available on the Sabarimala Online portal at sabarimalaonline.org.
The temple will open at 5:00 PM on August 16 for the monthly Chingam Masa pooja. The main Chingam Masa pooja will be held on August 17 with special rituals, and the shrine will remain open until 10:00 PM on August 21.
The temple will reopen at 5:00 PM on August 24 for the Onam festival. While Onam will be celebrated on August 26 with special rituals, the shrine will remain open until 10:00 PM on August 28.
Devotees planning to have darshan during either the Chingam Masa pooja or the Onam festival must mandatorily reserve a Virtual Queue slot in advance.
The Padi Pooja will be conducted at 6:00 PM every evening at Sannidhanam, except on the temple opening days.
